Kabul: In Afghanistan, Taliban have entered the outskirts of Kabul and say they will not capture capital by force.
The Taliban said they have no plans to take the Afghan capital by force.
The Taliban spokesman tweeted that talks are under way to ensure that the transition process is completed safely without bloodshed.
In a statement, the Afghan interior ministry said, sporadic gunfire has occurred time and again.
He said that the Islamic Emirate ordered all its fighters to stand at the gates of Kabul and not to try to enter the city.
He assured that no one’s life, property and dignity will be harmed.
The Taliban leaders called on Afghan forces to cease gunfire and allow for safe passage through the city for all civilians and foreigners.
On the other hand, US have started evacuating its entire diplomatic staff from its embassy in Kabul through helicopters.
