Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that discussion on Sindh government for not holding the inquiry of MQM’s activist Aftab Ahmed’s death is unjustified.
In a statement released from CM House Karachi, Qaim Ali Shah said that DG Rangers gave inquiry orders on first day, due to which he was taken him into his confidence but he is not heedless from the matter.
He added that DG Rangers is inquiring the matter, as he is the part of Sindh government, Aftab’s family and his party have appealed Chief of Army Staff for inquiry, however, COAS General Raheel Sharif has accepted the appeal and has given orders to begin the inquiry process.
He further added that when late Aftab’s family has trust on COAS so it is not suitable that someone else gives order for the inquiry.
