On the second leg of his two-nation trip, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Doha for a two-day official visit after concluding his time in Saudi Arabia.
In Doha, he is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdul rahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, as noted by the Foreign Office. The prime minister will also inaugurate the cultural exhibition “Manzar: Art and Architecture in Pakistan from 1940 to Present” on Thursday, showcasing Pakistan’s rich cultural and architectural heritage and emphasizing the strong ties between the two nations.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the premier expressed his anticipation for a productive dialogue with Qatari leaders to strengthen their brotherly relations.
Earlier, he was seen off by Prince Mohammed bin Abdul rehman bin Abdul aziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Province, at King Khalid International Airport, with the Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq, and senior Saudi officials also in attendance.
During his visit to Saudi Arabia, the prime minister spoke at the 8th Future Investment Initiative (FII) in Riyadh, where he highlighted Pakistan’s investment potential, his government’s reform agenda, and initiatives to facilitate trade and investment.
