Karachi: The bourse after setting history after crossing 140,000 mark in the morning session on the last day of business week turned bearish as it closed at 1, 38, 579 after losing 68 points.
At the start of the morning session, the PSX continued its record-breaking rally as it crossed 140,000 points mark after surpassing two psychological barriers in the day for the first time.
The Pakistan Stock Exchange’s (PSX) benchmark KSE-100 Index touched an intraday high of 140,585.38 points, marking a gain of 1,919.89 points..
Overall 477 companies transacted their shares in the PSX today whereas out of 477 companies 331 companies shares prices went down.
Yesterday the market had closed at 138, 655 after gaining 2285 points.
