LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has requested the court to extend the deadline to submit its reply in Lahore Development Authority (LDA) City Scandal.
The divisional bench headed by justice Shehzad Ahmed heard the LDA City scandal case.
The accused has the stance that he had approved the Asiana housing society by using his legal powers, however, NAB had arrested him in LDA city reference.
“Later, NAB hurled allegations of assets beyond means and Paragon scam and started the investigation,” he stated in his plea.
He reiterated that there was no reason to keep him behind the bar till the completion of city scandal investigation.
He requested the court to accept his bail plea, however court has extended the deadline for NAB to submit reply till May 9.
