Lahore (May 12, 2018): Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal who was injured in a gun attack last week, walked into the room and waved to his supporters from hospital’s window on Saturday.
Services hospital staff told journalists that interior minister Ahsan Iqbal’s wounds are healing and his health is improving day by day, he will be shifted home very soon.
Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal waved left hand from hospital window to supporters, people chanted slogans in his favour, it could be seen that Ahsan Iqbal’s right arm was strapped.
It is pertinent to mention that Ahsan Iqbal was shot and injured during a corner meeting in Narowal on Sunday.
He was rushed to District Headquarters Hospital Narowal but was later airlifted to Services Hospital in Lahore.
Police had arrested a teenager who had confessed to opening fire on the minister due to the Khatm-i-Nubuwat issue.
