ISLAMABAD: President Aazad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Ahmed Khan has said that India by resorting to shelling at Line of Control has attempted at diverting International community attention form atrocities in Occupied Kashmir.
He said Kashmir is an unresolved issue at the agenda of UN Security Council and the world body should take appropriate action for solution of this lingering dispute.
The AJK President said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif forcefully highlighted issue at UN General Assembly after taking Kashmiri leadership and Hurriyet Conference into confidence.
He said that the situation in Occupied Kashmir was deteriorating day by day and Indian forces have unleashed worst repression against Kashmiris.
AJK President said during his visit of New York and Washington he impressed upon US authorities to play their role for resolution of Kashmir issue.
He said fifth generation of Occupied Kashmir have now owned the struggle for right to self-determination and their peaceful movement cannot be suppressed through coercion.
