ISLAMABAD: Incarcerated Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif has filed a plea seeking exemption from appearing in hearing on an appeal filed by him in Islamabad High Court.
As per details, the former premier will not appear before IHC on Tuesday (tomorrow) in hearing over appeal which he filed against Accountability Court’s decision, challenging its decision of serving him seven years of imprisonment in Al-Azizia reference.
The submitted plea cites ailment of Nawaz as the reason for not appearing before the high court.
A medical report of the PML-N supremo has also been submitted along with the plea.
The submitted report contains Nawaz’s doctor’s instructions, directing him to take complete rest.
