ISLAMABAD: In an exciting development for food enthusiasts, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Saudi Arabia’s Al Baik Food System Company and Gas and Oil Pakistan Ltd (GO) to explore the expansion of the popular Saudi fast food chain, Al Baik, into Pakistan.
The announcement came during a high-profile visit by a Saudi delegation led by Minister of Investment Engineer Khalid Al-Falih.
At a ceremony in Islamabad attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, a total of 27 MoUs were inked, highlighting a commitment to strengthen cooperation across various sectors, including energy, agriculture, mining, human resources, and cybersecurity.
Al Baik’s CEO, Rami Abu Ghazaleh, expressed enthusiasm about the potential for growth in Pakistan, stating that the company is currently analyzing the local market to tailor its offerings for Pakistani consumers. With this agreement, Al Baik aims to launch its operations in the country in the near future, promising to bring its renowned menu and unique dining experience to a new audience.
