Aleem Stresses Need To Eradicate Corruption From Punjab

LAHORE: Senior Punjab Minister Abdul Aleem Khan on Sunday admitted that corruption has continued in Punjab despite the reign of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) government adding that honest premier and ministers are not enough in the eradication of the corruption.

Talking to media in Islamabad after the award ceremony of Pak-View city, the Punjab government senior minister Abdul Aleem Khan stressed that measures must be taken to end corruption in the province.

The PTI leader went on to say that Punjab CM Sardar Usman Buzdar is a good man and we all are part of his team.

The senior minister said that there is no danger to the government in Punjab adding that they have a very good working relationship with Punjab Assembly Speaker and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and will accept their justified demands.

Abdul Aleem Khan said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and former CM Shehbaz Sharif is responsible for province’s worse condition.

He vowed that bureaucrats in the province must have to work and one will be remove from his post if found involved in irregularities.

The minister expresses sympathy with former premier Nawaz Sharif over his ailing health conditions and said Nawaz should be given lawful rights for treatment and cleared that neither the PM Imran nor  Chief Minister Buzdar barred him to availing health facilities.
