RAWALPINDI: Aleema Khan expressed disappointment that her family and PTI leaders were denied access to meet Imran Khan during Eid.
Speaking at the Adiala Road Factory Checkpoint alongside Noreen Niazi, she highlighted that Eid has ended, yet they still couldn’t see Imran Khan.
She criticized the jail authorities for transferring Imran Khan to the hospital without notifying his family, stating it was their responsibility to inform them. Aleema also
raised concerns about the medical treatment Imran is receiving, mentioning discrepancies in the doctors’ names—Dr. Khurram and Dr. Nadeem Qureshi—and questioning what care he is being provided.
Noreen Niazi, Imran Khan’s sister, condemned his imprisonment as unjust and insisted he is innocent. She accused the government of oppression and emphasized that PTI members continue to face injustice and violence, asserting that no accountability or legal process is being followed in the country.
