RAWALPINDI: Founder PTI Imran khan has said If Ali Amin cannot maintain law and order in the province, he should resign.
The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has had his jail privileges reinstated. According to sources, Imran Khan has been given back access to his books and newspapers. Sources further said that yesterday, he was allowed a one-hour phone call with his children. During the call, Khan said that if his children want to visit him, they are welcome to do so.
Sources added that during the call, Imran Khan learned that his children’s NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis) had expired. He clarified, “I never said my children would come to Pakistan to join the protest movement.”
Regarding Malala Yousafzai’s appointment as senator, Imran Khan reportedly termed Aleema Khan’s comments unnecessary and said that she should not make political statements.
Sources further quoted Imran Khan as saying: “If Ali Amin Gandapur cannot maintain law and order in the province, he should resign. If he is unable to resolve governance issues, then someone else should be given a chance.
