Karachi: All the banks across the country will remain close for all public dealings owing to cutting of Zakat.
According to State Bank Of Pakistan (SBP), the all the banks in whole of the country will be closed for cutting of Zakat. Zakat amount is being deducted from savings, current and other accounts today.
The government has set nisab of Zakat Rs 88,927. As per the press release of SBP the Zakat will not be deducted from accounts having less than amount of nisab and accounts belonging to minorities.
