All Parties Hurriyat Conference calls for strike in occupied Jammu and Kashmir

SRINAGAR: All-Party Hurriyat Conference has called for a strike today in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, a spokesperson for the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), has raised significant alarm regarding the recent passage of an anti-Muslim bill by the Indian parliament and the distribution of numerous domicile certificates to non-Kashmiris in the occupied region.

He described these actions as violations of international law and a direct threat to the identity of the Kashmiri people.

Minhas criticized India’s ongoing illegal occupation, the revocation of political rights for Kashmiris, and the persistent human rights abuses in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), stating that these factors have severely disrupted the daily lives of the local population.

He urged the international community to take prompt action to address the Kashmir conflict, emphasizing that the unresolved situation remains a grave threat to regional stability and continues to deepen the suffering of the Kashmiri people.
