ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Defence Khwaja Muhammad Asif on Tuesday said that all the allegations and claims of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) proved to be hollow and false, saying that they have been triumphant in the past and would be so this time too.
Talking to media outside Supreme Court the defense minister, who was also accompanied by Federal Minister for Railway Khwaja Saad Rafiq and others, said that as the Supreme Court started proceedings on Panama Leaks case, so it would not be appropriate to comment on the case.
He said that they had presented themselves for accountability at every forum and scrutinizing the authenticity and credence of the evidence was court’s work.
Expressing his confidence in the Supreme Court, Asif said that they would be dispensed with justice by the court.
Saad Rafiq while talking on the occasion said that their opponents had always done politics of lies. Avoiding to make any comment on the case, Saad accused PTI of being master of hurling allegations without any solid proof.
He said that the court had asked PTI to shun politics and do any other work.
