ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has said that all resources are being used for holding the accountability of corrupt elements in the country.
Reiterating a commitment to eradicate every genre of corruption from the society Chairman anti-graft body Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal said we will continue to follow accountability for all policy.
Chairman anti-corruption body said that the NAB has adopted a policy of awareness, prevention and enforcement adding that the policy has given positive results.
He informed that the NAB has recovered a huge sum of Rs 326 billion since its inception while the body got record numbers of succusses in the last 19 months.
Javed Iqbal said that the anti-corruption watchdog filed as many as 1249 cases in the accountability courts while increasing numbers of complaints to the body reflective of people’s trust.
