Karachi: All the schools in Karachi and across Sindh have opened today.
After conditional permission by education ministry of Sindh the schools having 100 percent vaccinated staff have started educational activities.
The schools have been allowed to call 50 percent students attendance. Three days cover first shift while rest of students will be called on next three-day shift.
According to education department of Sindh only such schools with 100 percent vaccinated teaching and non-teaching staff will be allowed to open schools.
According to a notification issued by Sindh Education, Literacy and Colleges Education Department, the educational institutions will remain open for six days a week with 50 per cent attendance of students on alternate days.
All heads of educational institutions have been directed to ensure 100 percent vaccination of teaching and non-teaching staff.
