KARACHI: Accused police officials who killed a minor named Ahsan in an alleged encounter near Sachal area of the metropolis have confessed that there wasn’t any sort of encounter and the minor was killed as a result of a personal dispute here on Friday.
According to an investigation report, an investigation team recorded the statements by the police officials involved in killing a minor in an alleged encounter. The accused officials have confessed that there wasn’t any sort of encounter between the police and robbers. The incident took place as a result of a personal dispute.
As per initial findings, rest of the police officials were busy in a snap checking somewhere else while two of them named Abdul Samad and Amjad Ali exchanged heated words and opened fire on each other.
The investigation team has recorded the statements from police officials named Khalid, Amjad Ali, Abdul Samad and Peero Khan.
It is pertinent to mention here that as much as seven civilians have been killed in the past nine months in alleged encounters between the police and robbers.
