KARACHI: The leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM) Rauf Siddiqui and Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) President Anees Qaimkhani were released after their bail by Sindh High Court the other day.
Both the leader were behind the bars in case of treating terrorists through Dr Asim Hussain.
Rauf Siddiqui was brought to MQM-P’s temporary headquarters in PIB colony where he was warmly welcomed by party workers and leaders.
He said that he was grateful to party chief Dr Farooq Sattar who came to Central Prison to receive him. He also thanked all those who prayed for his release.
Siddiqui said that he had been arrested on court order and released after court granted him bail. He said that he had always trust in courts.
He appealed to the Prime Minister to take measures for release of all those innocent people languishing in jails. He also demanded that mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar should be released.
PSP also took out rally to celebrate the release of party president Anees Qaimkhani.
Talking to media PSP president said that he had always trust in courts. He said that he was sure that the court would dispense justice with him.
He said that PSP would change the political landscape of the country.
