Karachi: Another CCTV footage of killing of a private news channel Journalist Athar Mateen by the robbers in North Nazimabad area of Karachi has surfaced.
Robbers could be seen snatching a motorcycle in the CCTV footage while the journalist Athar Mateen who was in his car hit the robbers and they fell on the road.
The robbers stood from the road and shot at the vehicle of Journalist Athar Mateen and fled from the scene, the fire of the robbers proved to be fatal as the fire penetrated in the body of the journalist and he died at the spot.
On the other hand, an investigation team for probing the killing, headed by Deputy Inspector General (DIG) West has been formed.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Special Investigation Unit (SIU) and SSP Central are also included in the team.
