ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear another contempt of court case against PM’s adviser on information, Firdous Ashiq Awan over violating a court order regarding axle load.
Justice Mian Gull Hassan and Aurangzeb will hear the case next week.
Court issued stay order to government in reply of their notification to suspend implementation of the axle load regime at M-9 motorway.
Meanwhile, PM’s aide tweeted, ‘PM has stopped implementation of the axle load regime at M-9 motorway’. Advocate Arif chaudhry then filed a petition against Firdous, considering her tweet completely against the decision of court.
Firdous Ashiq Awan is already facing contempt proceedings in the Islamabad High Court.
However, another contempt of court petition filed against Firdous has been set for hearing.
