ISLAMABAD: A new case of polio has reported in Pakistan, bringing the total number of cases this year to 47.
According to a spokesperson from the health department, the latest case emerged in Ghotki district, Sindh province.
As per the Pakistan Polio Eradication Programme, one case in Islamabad, one in Punjab, nine in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), and 13 in Baluchistan.
