ISLAMABAD: Lt. General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), reiterated on Friday that the Pakistan Army is unwavering in its commitment to defend the nation, asserting that any external aggression will be met with a firm and decisive response.
General Chaudhry made these remarks during an interactive session with teachers and students from various universities. The event witnessed active participation from a large audience of educators and students.
During the discussion, key topics such as Pakistan-Afghanistan relations, the country’s security landscape, and Ma’raka-e-Haq were addressed. He underscored Pakistan’s proactive steps in combating terrorism and countering the menace of the Khawarij fitna. Attendees expressed profound respect for the sacrifices and service of Pakistan’s martyrs and veterans.
Dr. Ikramullah Khan, Vice-Chancellor of Hazara University, described the Pakistan Army as a true symbol of patriotism, emphasizing that it consistently stands at the forefront for the nation, with the public steadfastly supporting it.
Teachers highlighted the increasing activity of hostile forces aiming to mislead the youth and stressed the importance of equipping young minds with accurate and verified information.
The students shared their pride in belonging to a nation where the Pakistan Army serves as a source of motivation and guidance for young people. They noted that the session shed light on the misinformation being propagated against the armed forces on social media.
They further emphasized that General Chaudhry’s responses effectively addressed their concerns regarding national and regional issues, as well as matters related to the role of the Pakistan Army.
