Peshawar: Prime Minister, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif here Friday chaired a high-level Apex Committee meeting and discussed the overall law and order situation including the police lines’ mosque blast.
Addressing the meeting Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif vowed that we will not sit in rest till the erradication of the terrorism from the country.
He also agreed to complete investigation of negligence in Peshawar suicide blast at police lines mosque.
The PM said that KP was given Rs 417 billion adding that where the amount went? the premier said that there must be audit should be conducted of the funds.
Besides others, the Apex Committee meeting was attended by Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, caretaker Chief Ministers of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and leaders of political and religious parties.

The meeting was also attended by Federal Minister for Interior, Rana Sanaullah Khan, military leadership and high-ranking officials of police and others law enforcement agencies.
The PM urged that the situation warranted that all the political and religious leaders and institutions must be united against the terrorism.
He said that we condemned unnecessary criticism and allegations while he added the criticism for criticism must be avoided
Earlier, upon arrival, the Prime Minister was received by governor KP Haji Ghulam Ali and caretaker chief minister Muhammad Azam Khan besides others senior officials.
