Lahore: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management committee has said that an approval of hybrid model in Asia Cup it is victory of Pakistan.
Addressing a presser at Qaddafi Stadium Lahore, Najam Sethi said that it was wish of India to with draw Asia Cup hosting from Pakistan. But neglecting Pakistan in the Asia Cup was not happening possible. Thus they have to admit Pakistan stance
He said that whether going to India or not for playing World Cup, it will be the decision of the government.
Elaborating further on the hybrid model, he said that Asia Cup will be played under the hybrid model under which four games will be played in Pakistan while remaining matches will be played in Sri Lanka.
Chairman PCB said that he don’t interfere in the matters of the government but for the improvement of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) there must be consistency of the mind.
