DUBAI: Famous Indian singer has apologized to Pakistani actress Mahira Khan as he failed to recognize her in his concert, despite singing a song Zaalima that featured her.
Mahira Khan, a beloved figure in the Pakistani entertainment industry, commands a vast and diverse following worldwide. A viral video making rounds on social media showcases her immersed in the enchanting melodies of Bollywood maestro Arijit Singh during a concert in Dubai.
At the concert, Arijit Singh performed the song “Zaalima” from the movie “Raees.” However, the singer was unaware that the actress Mahira Khan, who was the star of the song’s visuals, was seated in the front row of the very same event.
Moments later, the singer gave a shoutout and apologised to the actress.
In the viral video, which was shared by Shahzadi Sipra, we can see Arijit Singh introducing Mahira Khan to the audience. The singer was not able to recognize Mahira at first. He said:

To this heart whelming introduction and sincere apology, Mahira, who stunned in a black outfit, smiled at the sweet gesture and waved at the audience.
