LAHORE: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Defence Forces, affirmed that Pakistan’s armed forces remain vigilant and ready to protect national borders and ensure internal security.
As per the Inter-Services Public Relations, during a visit to Lahore Garrison, he reviewed operational readiness and was briefed on steps to enhance training and combat capabilities.
He assessed the formation’s preparedness and observed a modern field training exercise showcasing advanced technologies, reflecting the Army’s focus on innovation and future battlefield adaptability.
Highlighting the need for modernization to meet evolving warfare challenges, he also toured sports and recreational facilities, stressing the importance of physical fitness and morale among troops.
At the Combined Military Hospital, he praised medical staff for delivering advanced healthcare services. Reaffirming zero tolerance for any threats to national security, he emphasized professionalism, discipline, and selfless service while pledging the military’s dedication to safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty and stability.
