Karachi: Unidentified armed persons shot dead a policeman in Korangi area of Karachi on Wednesday.
According to the police, the armed person opened fire on the policeman identified 26-year-old Umair Ali son of Ashfaq Ahmed in the limits of Awami Colony police station at Korangi 3:30 number.
The bullet peneterated in his chest and caused his death. The youth was resident of Police Line Quaid Abad near Hussaini round about in Sherpao Colony.
The police have found the deceased’s purse and his motorbike with his body however his mobile phone was missing while the police are searching for recovery of his mobile phone.
