RAWALPINDI: Army Chief General Raheel Sharif has said that Quetta attack is an attempt to foil successes of Operation Zarb-e-Azb, adding that Quetta attack is a cowardly attack, while he vowed not to let sacrifices of Military in vain with the help of nation. Army Chief has also directed to accelerate elimination of sleepers cells of terrorists.
According to ISPR, Army Chief chaired Core Commander Conference, during which the participants of conference expressed condolences and sympathies for martyred and injured. Army Chief was briefed over military commanders military operation continued in country as well as regarding external and internal security matters.
According to Spokesperson, Army Chief directed Core Commanders and Intelligence officials to accelerate Combing and Target operations, saying that all military commanders must carry out operation nationwide providing all necessary help to provincial institutions to eliminate terrorists sleepers cells.
