Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has announced the gallantry awards, Tamgha-e-Jurat for captain Roohullah and Tamgha-e-Bisalat for Naib Sobedar Muhammad Ali, for their bravery and determination they showed before the terrorists and embraced martyrdom in Quetta tragedy which left 61 dead.
According to ISPR army chief General Raheel Sharif announcing the medals for the martyrs said that military men have faced the terrorists with bravery and courage as they neutralized two suicide attackers apiece which allowing recruits to escape that saved several lives.
It is pertinent to say that heavily-armed militants wearing suicide vests stormed a police academy in Quetta, killing at least 61 people and wounding dozens more last night, in one of the deadliest militant attacks this year.
