Rawalpindi: Director General Inter Service Public Relations Major General Baber Iftakhar has said that Pakistan Army has nothing to do with politics adding that the army faces internal and external many challenges and threats.
Talking about alleged allegation hurled by the PDM leadership in talks with a private news channel, the DG ISPR categorically said that Army is not dealing any matter with anyone back door and urged the opposition no talk like this without any investigation.
Maj General Baber Iftakhar said that the army should not be dragged into the politics as the army and agencies are busy tackling many challenges and threats.
He said that the army has no time for politics adding that this speculation must end while he again stressed not to say something with any investigation.
On coronavirus vaccine donated by China, the DG ISPR said that the People’s Liberation Army has donated the coronavirus vaccine to Pakistan Army while he apprised that the Pakistan army has decided to give all the vaccines to the front line health workers which are the real hero of the nation in the fight against the global pandemic.
He said that once the coronavirus had become a nightmare for the country but the Pakistani nation combated it successfully.
Regarding search operation for the country’s renown climber Ali Sadpara, he said that Ali Sadpara is a national hero adding that he has been missing for three days and he prayed for his good health. While he apprised that the Pakistan army has been conducting the search operation for two days. He said that left no stone unturned in search of Ali Sadpara adding that beyond the last height of flying the search is being conducted.
He said that Pakistani nation has capacity to make impossible to possible and the nation should keep hope alive and the nation will hear good news in this regard.
