WEB DESK: Bollywood actor Sonu Sood currently facing legal troubles as he has been linked to a fraud case involving approximately $12,000 (INR 10 lakh).
Ludhiana’s Judicial Magistrate, Ramanpreet Kaur, has issued an arrest warrant for Bollywood actor Sonu Sood following his non-appearance in court regarding a ₹10 lakh fraud case.
The complaint, lodged by lawyer Rajesh Khanna, centers around an investment in a fraudulent Rijika coin scheme involving alleged victim Mohit Shukla.
Mohit Shukla, the main accused in the case, is alleged to have misled Khanna into making fraudulent investments. Sonu Sood has been implicated indirectly in the case, leading to the issuance of the arrest warrant.

After all that Sonu Sood’s clarification came after it was reported that a court in Ludhiana had issued an arrest warrant against the actor in connection with an alleged fraud case.
Actor Sonu Sood has responded via tweet, “We need to clarify that the news circulating on social media platforms is highly sensationalised. To put matters straight, we were summoned as a witness by the Honourable Court in a matter pertaining to a third party to which we have no association or affiliation.”
He added, “Our lawyers have responded, and on 10th February 2025, we will give a statement that clarifies our non involvement in the matter. We are neither brand ambassadors nor are we associated in any way. This is just for unnecessary media attention to grab eyeballs. It is sad that celebs become soft targets. We will take strict action in this matter.”
