Asad Umar Resignation Failure of PM Imran Khan; Opposition Leaders

ISLAMABAD: Opposition leaders including Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has termed resignation of Asad Umar from the ministry of finance as a failure of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in his video message commenting on Asad Umar’s decision partying away from the government as finance minister, hope that the decision will bring betterment in economic policies and he also congratulated masses over Asad Umar resignation because every Pakistani demanded that the government should review its economic policies.

Bilawal said that the government ministers belonged to banned-outfit will also throw out of the government soon.

Another senior leader of PPP Senator Sherry Rehman said that she heard that Asad Umar has tendered resignation adding that economic conditions in his tenure were so bad while amnesty scheme can be the reason behind his ouster from the government.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Maryam Aurangzaib in her reaction over Asad Umar resignation she said that if his performance were the best then why the government asked him to resign.

She said that Asad Umar resignation is the confession of the government that the government policies created an economic crisis in the country.

PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari spokesman Mustafa Nawaz Khokar claimed that the government lost his first wicket after the demand of his party adding that more wickets will fall soon and the government would return to the pavilion before end of 50 overs.

He said that Imran Khan even is not able to run his government and the ministers how he could be able to govern the country adding that Imran Khan has pushed the country towards many crises.

Mustafa said that the governance crisis has also created in the country after the economic crisis.

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sana Ullah has said that Asad Umar tendered resignation but it was taken from him and now Prime Minister Imran Khan should also resign.

Former provincial law minister Rana Sana Ullah said that If this government continued then God forbid the country could face tragedy.

He said that Pakistan could not face economic crisis any more adding that the incompetency of the government turned this dilapidated state of the economy.

The PMLN leader said that Asad Umar was an architect of the government 100-day plan adding that the government deceived the masses and told sets of lies in its 100-day plan.

Rana Sana Ullah declared the government economic policies devastating.
