PESHAWAR: A Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) delegation headed by former Chairman Senate Nayyar Hussain Bukhari met chief of Awami National Party Asfandyar Wali Khan in Charsada and extended invitation to him to attend the All Parties Conference (APC) convened by Asif Ali Zardari on March 4 on the issue of military courts.
The PPP delegation went to Wali Bagh to meet ANP Chief. Asfandyra Wali Khan accepted the invitation to attend the APC.
On the occasion he demanded of the PPP to include the alleged ill-treatment being meted out to Pakhtuns in Punjab in the agenda of the APC.
The PPP leaders also called on chief of Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Aftab Ahmed Sherpao in Peshawar and invited him to attend the APC.
He also accepted the invitation saying that the QWP will attend the APC being convened on military courts by PPP.
