Chenai: Pakistan will play their first match against Malaysia in Chenai, India on Thursday in the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy.
In other two matches of the day, Korea will take on Japan while India will play against China.
The green shirts will lock horns with arch-rivals India on Wednesday.
Six teams, including Pakistan, India, China, Japan, Korea and Malaysia are participating in the event.
