ISLAMABAD: Former president Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur have filed a plea seeking an exemption in today’s hearing session at Accountability court Islamabad of Fake Bank Accounts case.
According to details, Judge Arshad Malik is hearing the transferred case of fake bank accounts and mega money laundering scandal at Accountability court Islamabad.
During the hearing, former president and his sister Faryal’s counsel Farooq Naik filed an exemption plea in the court for his clients.
In the plea, Farooq Naik tabled the point of view that the police can easily manage the hassle if Asif Zardari is out of the place.
Judge Arshad Malik responded that the courtroom is small and when lawyers of all 24 suspects are in the room, it gets crowded and menacing.
During the course of proceedings, NAB prosecutor also added that several hearings have taken place in the same courtroom but such severe conditions have not taken place.
