Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has taken oath of the 14th president of Pakistan at the president house in an august gathering.
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJ) Qazi Faez Isa administered oath from newly elected President Asif Zardari.
Asif Zardari has assumed the office for second time while he is first and only civilian President who has taken oath of the president-ship for second time.
Former president Dr Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif were present at the swearing in stage.
All services chief of Army, Air force, Navy and Chairman Joint Chief of Staff General Shamshad Mirza were present in the august gathering.
All Chief Ministers except CM kp were in attendance while all four governors were also present on the occasion.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) life time supremo Nawaz Sharif, all the children of Asif Zardari, his son in law were also in attendance.
