WEB DESK: Pakistani singer Asim Azhar has announced his separation from fiancée and Pakistani actor and model Merub Ali, nearly three years after they publicly shared their engagement.
Asim shared this news on Instagram late last night, “Salam everyone, We wanted to take a moment to share something personal with you, as your support means the world to us—fans, friends, and well-wishers alike”.
He continued, After much contemplation and reflection, Merub and I have mutually and peacefully decided to part ways. While we shared many meaningful moments and genuinely hoped for a future together, life sometimes takes its own course”.
In closing, Azhar emphasized sincerely, “We have the utmost respect for each other and the families involved, and always will. We kindly ask for your understanding and privacy during this time, and hope this is met with the same grace with which it is being shared. Thank you for your continued support.”
