Islamabad (March 27, 2018): The accountability court (AC) will resume the hearing of a supplementary NAB reference, filed against former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar over assets beyond known income resources today.
The reference against Ishaq Dar was filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in light of the Supreme Court’s July 28 verdict in the Panama Papers case. The AC judge Judge Mohammad Bashir will resume the hearing.
Earlier on March 28, the AC had adjourned the hearing into assets beyond income case reference against Ishaq Dar till March 30, once again delaying indictment of the three co-accused.
The co-accused in the case are former National Bank of Pakistan President Saeed Ahmed, Naeem Mehmood and Mansoor Rizvi.

The three have been accused in the supplementary reference filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against the former finance minister, who has been absconding in the case since October last year. 
Accountability Judge Muhammad Bashir resumed hearing the case on Wednesday.
During the court proceedings, suspects Naeem Mehmood and Mansoor Raza were presented before the court, while Ahmed failed to appear. Ahmed’s lawyer informed that his client had been granted two-day exemption from appearance.
The judge then ordered the two accused to submit surety bonds worth Rs1 million each to the court, and adjourned the hearing till March 30.
Yesterday, the proceedings of the accountability court hearing NAB references against Ishaq Dar in Assets beyond known resources was adjourned till tomorrow (Wednesday) while the court would also indict the three co-accused in the case on the same day.
Earlier, the accountability court hearing the illegal assets accumulation case against Senator Ishaq Dar dismissed a plea of the co-accused to quash their impending indictment and ordered the framing of charges on March 27.

Judge Mohammad Bashir, who is presiding over the case, had on March 5 ordered to indict National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) President Saeed Ahmed, Naeem Mehmood and Mansoor Rizvi on March 12.
The three have been accused in the supplementary reference filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against the former finance minister, who has been absconding in the case since October last year.
