ATC Allows Rauf Siddiqui to Go for Hajj

Karachi (August 19, 2017): An anti-terrorism court allowed on Saturday Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan leader Rauf Siddiqui, a co-accused in a case registered against Pakistan People’s Party leader Dr Asim Hussain related to providing treatment and shelter to alleged terrorists,  to leave the country for performing Hajj.

The ATC heard the case related to providing treatment to alleged terrorists.Siddiqui moved an application in the court seeking permission to allow him to proceed to Saudi Arabia for perming Hajj.

The judge asked Siddiqui when he would go for Hajj.  He told the court that he would be in Saudi Arabia from August 25 to October 10 for Hajj.The court allowed him to leave the country against furnishing a surety bond of Rs20 lac.
