Islamabad: An anti-terrorism court of Islamabad on Moday approved bail pleas of arrested National Assembly members belonging to the Pakistan Tehreek -e-Insaf (PTI) and ordered immediate release of all.
Judge of the anti terrorism court Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain heard the bail pleas of the PTI MNA’s .
Prosecutor in his point of view said that MNA Ahmed Chatha is nominated in the case adding his minimum punishment under the sections included in a First Information Report (FIR) is a three years in jail.
He insisted the court not to approve his bail.
To which the Judge asked that have any thing recovered from arrested MNAs Sher Afzal Marwat, Ahmed Chatha and others?
The prosecutor apprised that no any thing recovered from the arrested MNA’s.
The court approved the bails of all the PTI MNA’s on surety of Rs 30000 for each and ordered immediate release of all the MNA’s.
The PTI arrested MNA’s are Sher Afzal Marwat, Sheikh Waqas Akram, Zain Qureshi, Ahmed Chatha, Amir Dogar, Yousuf Khan, Naeem Ali Shah, Owais Hyder Jhakar, Shah Ahad and Zubair Khan.
The cases under section of terrorism are registered against them in the police stations of Sangjani, Tarnol , Non and Sunbul.
