ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Terrorism Court approved the bail of Bushra Bibi in 13 cases of D Chowk protest.
Anti-Terrorism Court of Islamabad heard the interim bail applications of Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi in 13 cases of D Chowk protest, during which Bushra Bibi and her lawyers appeared in the court.
During the hearing, the judge expressed his indignation at Bushra Bibi’s signing and putting her thumb on the simple paper by the lawyers and said, everywhere they say VIP protocol has been received, this cannot happen, I did not make you wait, I I was writing the verdict and I am hearing your bails. When the court order comes out, it will have the signature and thumb of the accused.
It was told in the court that 13 cases have been registered in different police stations of Islamabad against Bushra Bibi, 3 cases have been registered in police station secretariat, 2 cases have been registered in police station Margalla and 2 cases have been registered in police station Karachi.
Later, the court granted interim bail of Bushra Bibi on 5.5 thousand rupees till February 7 and adjourned the hearing by ordering the police to appear with the records at the next hearing.
