ATC Islamabad approves bail of 153 PTI protesters over protest at D-Chok

Islamabad: An anti-terrorism court of Islamabad on Friday pronounced reserved verdict on the bail petitions of more than 200 arrested PTI protesters over protest at D-Chok in Islamabad.

The ATC Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain had reserved a verdict after completion of arguments of the both side lawyers several days ago.

The ATC Islamabad has approved bail of 153 activists of the PTI while the court rejected bails of 24 activists.

The court approved bails of 48 accused and rejected five bails registered in the FIR at Islamabad Karachi Company police station.

Seven accused bails given to two accused while five were disposed off in the FIR lodged at the Police station Tarnol.
The Judge approved nine accused bails while one accused bail rejected in the FIR registered at the Police station I-9.

Out of 33 accused, 28 bails accepted while 5 rejected registered in the FIR number 1033 at the Police station Kohsar.

Three bails of accused were accepted while five rejected lodged in the FIR at the police station Ramna.

All the 25 accused were granted bails registered in the FIR at the Secretariat police station.

Whereas 42 bails approved out of 45 while three could not be gotten bail registered in the FIR at the Police station Margalla.

The court has ordered the release of the all accused who were granted bails with surety bond of Rs 5,000.
