Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Thursday got a major relief from an anti-terrorism court of Lahore as former premier allowed to appear before the court through a video link.
Besides that the PTI chief’s interim bail in the two cases extended til May 4 and he was allowed to appear before the court through the video link for one time.
The anti-terrorism court disposed off the petition seeking interim bail in arson and vandalism against Imran Khan.

To which, the PTI chief counsel argued that the attackers of the Wazirabad incident can apprise. The counsel informed the court that former Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) late chairman Benazir Bhutto was attacked in this manner.
To which, the court remarked that the reference of Benazir Bhutto attack is considerable.
The court remarked that you people are not allowing chief of Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to review the crime scene while Zaman Park, residence of Imran Khan in Lahore, has been made no go area. So such persons should not be given a facility of an interim bail.
The court said ” we take Imran Khan in custody and there will be no danger to his life in a prison.” The court also remarked that just recording statement once is not enough while constant cooperation with police is necessary.
The court extended Imran Khan interim bail in the two cases till May 4.
