ISLAMABAD: The Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has demanded that the entire PTI leadership, including its Chairman, should tender an unconditional apology for using indecent language against journalists and women.
Talking to the media in Islamabad on Friday, he said PTI known for attacking media persons and running derogatory campaigns on social media against them. He recalled that journalists had become the first target of this party when it started trolling campaigns on social media.
The Minister said the language used by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur against journalists is condemnable and highly objectionable. He said the tone and tenor of Ali Amin Gandapur against Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and the armed forces of Pakistan do not suit to a chief executive of a province.
Referring to a social media post shared from the X account of the PTI founder, Attaullah Tarar said he is again turning to his previous practice of committing sedition. He said the PTI founder wants to create anarchy in the country, which is condemnable.
He added that the Federal Investigation Agency has decided to initiate an investigation against the PTI founder for inciting people to anarchy.
