ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, paid a visit to the residence of renowned broadcaster Ishrat Fatima in Islamabad on Thursday. During the visit, he honored her significant contributions to the field of broadcasting, which span over forty years.
In his remarks, Tarar highlighted Ishrat Fatima’s widespread recognition and affection throughout Pakistan, calling her a living legend in the country’s media industry. He expressed his admiration for her dedication and acknowledged her as a vital part of Pakistan’s broadcasting history.
The Minister also extended an invitation to Ishrat Fatima to join Pakistan Television (PTV), emphasizing that her involvement with the national broadcaster would be an invaluable source of inspiration and guidance, especially for young aspiring media professionals.
