LONDON: A person has attempted to burn the Quran Outside the Turkish consulate in London
According to British media, a video posted on the social media platform X shows an unidentified individual attempting to burn the Quran outside the Turkish Consulate. Afterward, another person takes the Quran from his hands, knocks him to the ground, kicks him, and spits on him.
Eyewitnesses reported that the attacker pulled out a knife and injured the person who was burning the Quran.
According to local police, they received a report of an attack on a person at 2:11 PM. The injured person sustained a finger injury, but there were no knife wounds.
Police stated that officers arrived at the scene within minutes and arrested one person on suspicion of carrying a dangerous weapon and causing severe bodily harm.
