Islamabad: Attorney General of Pakistan Mansoor Usman Awan has said that an impression is being given that an intervention made in the affairs of the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
In his video message, the Attorney General clarified regarding the letter of justice Babber Sattar of the IHC.
He apprised that there is some sensitive information of the state while the attorney general or advocate general contact for the sensitive information.
The attorney general apprised that purpose of penning the letter is not intervention.
A content of a letter written by a Judge of the IHC surfaced on the social media. He said that a wrong meaning was taken from the letter addressed to the Chief Justice IHC Justice Amir Farooq.
In his video message, Attorney General said that he thinks necessary to clarify regarding the letter of the Judge Baber Sattar.
He said that neither the government nor any government institution can interfere in the matters of the judiciary.
The Attorney General pointed out that an impressing is being made that the judiciary and executive relations are getting bad.
He said that any request which is legal the attorney general or advocate general in this play their role as a bridge.
He said that looked into the content of the letter that which thing has been declared hurdle in the provision of justice.
He added that no security officer has contacted directly nor they can do it.
