Attorney General Unable To Return Home Due To Suspension Of Flight Ops

ISLAMABAD: Attorney General Anwar Mansoor Khan, who is currently in The Hague is yet to return back to Pakistan due to suspension of flight operations at Islamabad Airport.

Sources have claimed that AG Anwar Mansoor Khan went to The Hague, Netherlands for follow-up of the Kulbhushan Jhadav case.

He was supposed to arrive back in Pakistan via Brussels, although he was barred from doing so due to the suspension of flight operations at Islamabad airport owing to escalating tensions between Pakistan and India.

However, according to sources, the Attorney General office has made contact with the ministry of foreign affairs to arrange the lodging and food for Anwar Khan.

It is pertinent to mention that flight operations remained suspended across the country including airports at Karachi, Islamabad, Airport, Quetta and Peshawar for the second consecutive day today.

Around 150 domestic and foreign flights were called off today due to which to 40,000 passengers faced all sorts of problems.

On this issue, Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCCA) has stated that flight operations will get functional again once government issues its order.
