Australia beat New Zealand by 116 runs in second ODI

CANBERRA: Australia beaten New Zealand by 116 runs in the second consecutive One Day International (ODI) match at Manuka Oval.

Australia took unassailable 2-0 ODI series lead toreclaim Chappell-Hadlee Trophy. New Zealand won the toss and invited Australia to play first. Australia set New Zealand 379 runs target on five wickets in the given over. Opener David Warner was the top scorer of the match with 119 runs on 115 balls. While Mitchell Marsh scored 76 runs and remained not out.

On the other hand New Zealand all out at 262 runs. Captain Kane Williamson scored 81 runs and Neesham made 74 runs in the match.

Australian right arm fast bowler Patrick James Cummins took four wickets. While Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and James Faulkner took two wickets each.
